Can anyone assist me, the TDS can be deducted from total value of the invoice value or gross amount.For ex

Labour chgs 10,000.00

Freight Charges 100.00

Gross total 10100.00

Service tax 1030.00
---------------------------
Net Value 11,130

30 June 2010 Presumed that the TDS is u/s 194C.

In terms of the said section tds is deductible on gross amount credited, ie. Rs. 11130/-.
