Greetings of the day..!

I got a queries from my friend suppose I book the invoice in month of jan and the amount is not paid to supplier then when the tds should be deposit . within 7 th of feb ?

11 January 2016 Yes. To be paid within 7th of January. Liability to deduct TDS arises on the date of payment or credit whichever is earlier. Since the bill is booked in January the TDS should be deposited within 7th February.
