01 January 2013 Why we deduct 10% Tds of the salary and what is the condition when we have to calculate taxable income and then divided by 12 to calculate Tds.

01 January 2013 TDS on salary is not deducted @10% but it is calculated and deducted as per the Slab of the employee.

02 January 2013 That is what i am saying.. TDS is not deducted @10%. it is deducted as per the average rate of tax applicable to eployee
