26 October 2012 We have purchased a Accounting package called LOGIC for Rs.300000/- They have added Service Tax in their bill. Please let me know whther we have to deduct TDS on the same.

26 October 2012 TDS is applicable on new implementation charges U/s 194J under technical services.

If there is an contractual agreement executed with the Vendor of Computer software for installation, maintenance etc., then TDS U/S 194C is applicable
