Taxable amount for vat

25 December 2014 Do we calculate VAT (5%) on Basic Material amount or if we charge freight/Packing & Forwarding/Other Charges/Inspection charges in the invoice, shall we include this amount as taxable amount. please reply.

25 December 2014 Generally vat is chargeable on basic price plus the expenses incurred such as packing and forwarding, freight, etc.
