19 July 2020 WHETHER SALARY INCOME IN INDIA IS TO BE SHOWN IN AUSTRALIAN RETURN AND VICE VERSA? 9 MOTHS IN INDIA AND 3 MONTHS IN AUSTRALIA. RELEVNAT AY 20-21(INDIA). AUSTRALIA JULY19 - JUNE 20
REQUEST ADVICE.REQUEST AGAIN.

25 July 2020 Yes, it has to be shown in ITR in India, not sure about Australia. However, if any tax paid in Australia on such salary income earned in Australia, you could take credit in Indian ITR and need not oay tax again. You could contact at caankithjain@gmail.com for guiding with your Income tax returns.

25 July 2020 Thank You Mr. Jain!! Yes but trust it has to be shown only to the extent of period covered by return. In Australia they have June ending. They also have a provision of declaring foreign income. So possibly in India Autralian Income upto March,20 needs to be reflected whereas in Australia Income in India Upto JUne 20 needs to be reflected. Right?

25 July 2020 Yes rightly said, and also once have a look at DTAA between India-Australia regarding more clarity w.r.t Credit of tax paid in australia.

27 July 2020 Thank You once again!
