18 February 2009 Whether family pension received by a spouse of freedom fighter is taxable or not. If not please clarify the relevant section

18 February 2009 Yes, It is taxable in the hands of recepient. But they can take deduction of 15K of 331/3 percent of such pension received u/s 57.
