Dear Sir, I wish to clarify one doubt regarding Central Excise. M/s.SSS Marketing Pvt Ltd is a incorporated in India & it is import some electronic products from china. Is it liable to pay the Central Excise if the products imported with Indian company's Brand ? i.e. SSS

when any product is imported the same suffers customs duty + additinal customs duty (cvd) which is equal to the excise duty. The presence of brand on the specified product may attract MRP based valuation.
