Tax return for foriegn companies

31 August 2011 A foreign company(having PAN) has been filing tax returns for the income earned from India for past 3 years.

In the current year does it also need to file return if in the current FY there is no income from India.

If yes please also give relevant reference. Is it manadatory or is it desirable.
