IS Cost of Indextation applicable for this example????
say for example. i Hold 10000 Shares in Altd Co. which is nt listed. And now Iam Selling or Transfering 5000 shares to Mr.Q. thn How its Calculated. Say date of Purchase of share is on 19th sep 2009 and date of sale is 0n 19th Nov 2011.

Yes you can take benefit of Indexation in this case. Since shares transferred is capital assets.
