25 May 2010 whether Salary/remuneration paid to secretary and chairman of the society registered under state acts running a educational institution,can claim as expense ?

25 May 2010 Normally a society has a President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer and executive members. They are know as office bearers and they are barred from taking money from the society in what every name. Therefore they are not eligible for any salary/remuneration.
