Dear sir, if one software engineer are employee and he is providing some service to other organisation occasionally. then this INCOME is calculated in PGBP HEADS OR OTHER SOURCE INCOME.

If the assessee is an employee ,he should be taxable under the head Salaries ,for his occassional income from service can come under other sources
