We have paid TDS twice during this period. As the amount is very high, we want to get back the same, instead of adjusting in future dues. Kindly advise how to get back the amount.

If you have paid TDS twice, you have no other option but to write to authorities explaining the matter. I think TDS section has no authority to refund in the normal course. Perhaps you have to either go through the adjustment way or if the contract is over await assessment order of the assesse concerned and get repayment from him!
