03 September 2008 I want to know the basic difference between TAX AUDIT & STATUTORY AUDIT.

03 September 2008 tax audit is done when turover exceeds 40 lac in case of any assessee by sec 44 AB of income tax act.
statutory audit is done in case of co as per co act.
