05 July 2012 One of our client is doing tailoring work

01. On behalf of shops, who provides fabrics
02. For personal Customer who provides fabrics

All other accessories like buttons,collars etc are borne by our client

under the negative service tax will now they taxable keeping in mind two aspects

Mega exemption notification for textile and also job work charges for excisable unit is exmpt ?

05 July 2012 Their activity is manufacture and the same is item 6 of the negative list. Not liable under ST.

This activity is not textile processing for sure.
