06 November 2014 if a transporter quote his pan then no tds will deducted but whether a company for their practice can deduct tds@2%

06 November 2014 Well as per law you should not deduct. The whole idea of exempting the transporters from tds net was to do away with inconvenience caused to them given their nature of work require constant movement...
