11 July 2024 The issue you're facing with the GSTR 9C Signed JSON file not uploading successfully to the GST Portal could be due to several reasons, often related to technical glitches on the portal. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

1. **Check File Size and Format:**
- Ensure that the JSON file you are uploading meets the size and format requirements specified by the GST Portal. The JSON file should not exceed the maximum file size limit, and it should be structured correctly according to the GSTN guidelines.

2. **Validate JSON File:**
- Use a JSON validator or tool to ensure that the JSON file is valid and does not contain any syntax errors. Even minor errors in the JSON structure can cause the file to fail during upload.

3. **Browser Compatibility:**
- Sometimes, the issue could be browser-specific. Try using different web browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) to upload the JSON file. Chrome is generally recommended for GST Portal operations.

4. **Clear Cache and Cookies:**
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies before attempting to upload the file again. Cached data can sometimes interfere with the upload process.

5. **Internet Connection:**
- Ensure that you have a stable and strong internet connection. Poor internet connectivity can disrupt the file upload process.

6. **Wait and Retry:**
- If you encounter a "system failure" message, it might be due to temporary issues on the GST Portal. Wait for some time and try uploading the file again later.

7. **Raise a Grievance:**
- Since you've already raised a complaint with the GST Helpdesk and haven't received a resolution, continue to follow up with them. Provide them with all relevant details such as error messages, screenshots if possible, and the steps you've already taken to troubleshoot.

8. **Seek Professional Help:**
- If the issue persists despite following the above steps, consider seeking assistance from a GST practitioner or a professional who has experience dealing with GST Portal issues. They may have additional insights or methods to resolve the problem.

9. **Document Everything:**
- Keep records of your communication with the GST Helpdesk, including complaint numbers and any responses received. This documentation will be useful if you need to escalate the issue further.

By systematically addressing these points, you should be able to diagnose and resolve the issue with uploading the GSTR 9C Signed JSON file to the GST Portal. If the problem persists, continue to pursue resolution through the GST Helpdesk and consider escalating the matter if necessary.
