SWITCH OVER FROM PCC MAY 2010 TO IPCC NOV09

Sir, Wishing you and all the member of the Institute a very HAPPY NEW YEAR, Most respectfully I wish to convey thanks to you and institute for the new package to course which will definitely brighten the future of new upcoming CAs.
request you to kindly guide me on the following lines about my son:_
· My son passed 10+2 (CBSE) in March 2008.
· Appeared for CPT June 2008.
· Cleared CPT July 2008
· Registered for Article-ship 30 July 2008 acknowledgement received.
· Registered for 100 hrs IT – April 2009
MY QUWRY IS:-
1. Now, can he switch over to IPCC NOV 2009?
2. Only one part or both parts?
3. When he will be eligible for Finals?
4. When his article ship will be completed?
5. For study course – any classroom study provided by the institute at Jaipur.
6. Syllabus (course contents and level of subject) is same for PCC & IPCC.
7. Study material supplied by the Board of Studies for PCC will be used for IPCC or sapearate material will be supplied for IPCC.
8. FEE TO BE PAID - IF FEE PAID AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION TO PCC WILL BE ADJUSTED IF YES UPTO WHAT EXTENT.

answer for ur ques
1. yes he can switch over to IPCC
2.Both Parts has to be Switched over
3. Eligible for finals after clearing ipcc and enroled for final and completing article training
4.as per existing rules he has to complete 3.5yr art.training this remains same
5. i am not sure abt classroom study in jaipur
6. till date syallabus has not been clarified so exisiting remains good
7.same books will do provided no alterations in future if brought in syallabus
8. yes fees paid will be considered and any swithover fees prescribed to be paid and validity of registration to be taken care
my suggestion : always when we have chance to write exams in present syllabus we should make use of it, only then we need to switch over keeping in mind the stress of the student, he would be prepared already if not then no issue. but always exhaust the attempts given in present syllabus than shifting over immediately.this applies only if syllabus is altered.

2. He can appear for both Groups in November 2009.
3. CA Final will be in the last six months of articleship.
4. He will get credit for the articleship. His total articleship including the articleship done will be three years.
5. Please check up with ICAI Jaipur.
Coaching Classes : Bangar Sir is conducting.
6. Syllabus is having little variation but for the benefit of the students.
7. Some material will be upgraded by paying nominal amount to ICAI. You can even buy the entire new material.
8. I request you to contact ICAI.
