We are in the business of providing "Software Development & Testing" services in NON-PHYSICAL form. Our monthly invoices are of value around $15000. I have heard that, for export values less than $25000, you are not required to declare the value on SOFTEX. Does it mean that we are not required to submit SOFTEX form with STPI?
o Trade samples, publicity material supplied free, personal effects of travellers (accompanied/unaccompanied) o Ship’s stores, transshipment cargo, military/naval/air force requirements, o Aircraft or aircraft engines and spare parts for overhauling and/or repairs (subject to re-import) o Goods/software of value less than USD 25,000 - declaration from exporter o Gifts for value upto Rs.5.00 lakh – declaration o Goods imported free of cost on re-export basis o Goods exported upto USD 1000 to Myanmar under Barter Trade Agreement o Replacement of goods free of charge as per EXIM Policy o From EPZ/EHTP/ESTP/FTZ after permission of Development Commissioner o Imported goods found defective for replacement o Goods imported from suppliers/collaborators on loan basis o Goods imported from suppliers/collaborators free of cost - found excess after production operations
