first registered with a Broker or Sub-Broker so you will get a Client ID for trading.
You can do the trading in NSE & BSE listed stock. I will give you a suggesstion if you don't know more about market than invest only in NSE Blue chip stock (From www.nseindia.com)& invest for the long term so you can generate good returns.
