Stipend of articles by cash ?

I got stipend by way of cash for doing articles for a peroid 6 months from my principal, from now onwards im getting cheque only. Is create any problem to me ?
Is it mandatory to get stipend by cheque only? What shall i do now for that 6 months period ?

My advice will be to get cheque for the same and repay the CA by cash for the specified period
