Can a company maintain statutry registers in electronic form only?

23 July 2010 Not compulsory to maintain in electronic form. Company can maintain both hard copy or soft copy.

Hard copy is must but you can maintain both simultaniously.

23 July 2010 My query is that only , that whether is compulsory to have hard copies or company can maintained it in any of the two modes?
Can u please tell me the relevenat sections which says hard copy is compulsory?

23 July 2010 There is no section prescribing hard copies mandatory.

But soft copy is not maintainable in court as an evidence so it is better to maintain the same in hard copy...
