Actually we want to start Provident Fund for our employees, we are into construction (Partnership firm)but we heard that "Gumasta" under shop establishment act registration is compulsary plz explain us what is the procesure for that....?????

25 October 2010 yes. Its based on State. As a partnership firm, you have to apply to get registration along with the following documents. Rule is any shop and Commercial Establishment to be registered with this department. There is slab for this registration. This details is belongs to Karnataka only. Please refer below.

1. Form A (Application in Karnataka)
2. Partnership deed
3. PAN Card copy
4. Address Proof of Company
5. ID & ADD Proof of Partners.
6. Staff list (count of Male & Female )
7. Rental Agreement of Company.
8. MOA & AOA if Company.
9. Certification of Incorporation if Co.

apply with the above documents. Refer the fees on based on the employees.

1-9 500/-
10-19 3000/-
20-49 8000/-
50-99 15000/-
100-250 30000/-
251-500 35000/-
501-1000 45000/-
1001 above 50000/-

You have to pay by cash only. Cheque / DD will not accept. Within 7 working days you will get the certificate.
