28 January 2011 Dear Sir,
I am salaried person

we have plang for purchase a flat.
can i get Stamp Duty & registration deduction in Income tax. if yes then u/s ???

also if i pay partly amount in 2010-11 & partly 2011-2012 then....

28 January 2011 Yesyou can get deduction of Stamp Duty and registration fee umder section 80C of the Income Tax. Maximum amount deductible under section 80C is 1 lacs.
