In case of transfer of shares is the stamp duty .25% of the market value ? If the consideration is more than the Market Value then would the stamp duty be .25% of the cansideration ?

Stamp duty is payable on the consideration and not on market value. Therefore stamp duty is payable on the consideration in case of transfer of shares.
