Sir,
A proprietary concern is deducting 0.5% of gross salary as staff welfare fund from all the employees to meet emergencies. My concern is to know that there will not be any company law or legal obligations for deducting from employees.

there is no legal obligations... and i think whatever the company doing is also not right...
