Some XL doubts.. Plz clear..

18 January 2011 I had protected the contents of an XL Sheet, using the 'protect sheet' option. But, it has no use as a user can easily copy the data into an another sheet and could make necessary changes.
I need a help...

18 January 2011 Use 'Protect Workbook' command instead of 'Protect Sheet'

But still, he can create a new XL file; copy all the contents of the protected sheet and can make necessary changes, as the password is broken as 'n when the contents of the sheets is copied..

Needs further help..


20 January 2011 GO TO TOOLS MENU>>OPTIONS>>CLICK ON SECURITY TAB>>SPECIFY PASSWORD TO OPEN AND PASSWORD TO MODIFY, YOU CAN ALSO MARK IT AS READ ONLY BY CHECKING THE CHECKBOX,,
