Dear Experts, I'm running proprietary firm but I'm bit confused about the signing of tax invoice under GST regime. Since I'm the proprietor Hence usually in my presence I do sign tax invoice but sometimes in my absence my employees sign the tax invoice. Pls let me know whether it is amount to be consequences that the employees has sign tax invoice. As per the GST Rule other than proprietor who can sign tax invoice,

Your employee can sign provided you have made him as your authorised representative.

Sir that mean authorized person can even sign the tax invoice. Pls let me know how to made the authorized person under GST. What it's procedure

Yes... Your employee can be sign in the Invoices as "For AUTHORIZED SIGNATURE". If the employee can sign the Invoices, DC, Vouchers and no need declare as "Representative"....
In case You ll like He/She sign in any out of activities like Cheque, Any documents to Tax Departments, Letter heads and etc for Out of Employee activities then you can appoint. Otherwise no need...

Appointment of authorised signatory is part of registration of supplier and therefore any change in the same has to be reported within 15 days in form of REG-7, without appointing the employee as authorised signatory the employee can not sign the invoice

Sir pls clarify :- whether two person can be as authorized signatory one proprietor and second one employee if yes what's it's procedure
