Setoff of loss in future and option trading

08 January 2013 dear sir,

I incurred loss of Rs.21000 in trading in future and option. Can it be set off against my business income or it can be carried forward to next year ?

08 January 2013 Speculation loss cannot be set off against non speculative business income it can be carried forward. for more details please refer the below link and download the file:-
