For the month of August 2020, I have a igst credit note. Can I adjust this igst amount against my output cgst /sgst for the same month? I don’t have any igst sales for August. Only cgst/sgst sales.

Please check on the portal.If you are able to enter IGST credit note in GSTR1 even though you do not have IGST sales in August then you can use this IGST credit to set off your CGST+SGST liability. If you can not enter then try in GSTR3B.You may be able to enter now -ve figures.
