09 September 2014 For trading company job work Service charge out payable amount can setoff against excise input? pls clarify....with section.

09 September 2014 No the service tax liability cannot be adjusted against the input service tax of trader.A Trader can only pass on the excise duty neither he is a service provider nor manufacturer.
