13 March 2010 Please explain procedure in detail for service tax return & challan with due dates & rate of interest.
This is the first return of the propritery concern so is there any additional requirements

13 March 2010 ST return due date is Half yearly -for Apr-Sep- 25th October & For Oct-Mar- 25th April

You need to fill the ST-3 form and file

Payment is 5th of the every month,but the SSI units can pay quartely and service tax need to pay after realisation of the invoice
