19 May 2010 Is it necessary to take Service Tax registration for Availing Cenvat Credit of Input Services used in the manufacturing of Final excisable product for a Excisable unit.

There is no output service involvement in that Excisable unit.

20 May 2010 I dont think that registration is required when u r not providing any taxable service.
