28 November 2012 we are a private Ltd company engaged in trading & packing of ayurvedic goods and goods received from out side delhi by Tpt. Transporter made G.r and charged Freight only app 5000/- to us. not charged service tax. total freight inward around 6,00,000 per annum. My query is that should we get Service tax Registration and whose responsible for paid service tax . should trash hold limit of service tax is rs 1000000 is applicable or not
please clarify Its urgent

28 November 2012 yes you are liable to pay service Tax on 25% of Invoice. No exemption of 10 Lac
