Whether the service tax paid on ICICI Prudential Life Insurance premium by an Individual assessee can be claimed under section 80C of the Income Tax Act, 1961?

It should be allowed, since the expression used u/s Section 80C is "any sums paid"....meaning thereby, the deduction of service tax should also be allowed.
