We have rented immovable property to some of company and recovering rent as per rent agreement, My query is i am recovering water charges also as per actual consumption, do i need to charge service tax on this recovery?

Do mention water charges seperately in your Bill. Also, do not charge over and above what you are paying to Local authority for water charges. This way you can avoid Tax on water charges. Otherwise, u have to pay Tax
