17 December 2013 We are in the business of trading of goods and installing services.

Whether we liable to pay service tax on services provided to educational institutions for Installation services in the F.Y 2011-12

17 December 2013 yes you are liable..
there are few exemptions after and before july 2012 for services provided to educational institutions but the installation service is not covered in the same and hence taxable.
