We would like to know the expert advice that as per recent order service tax on renting of immovable property has been abolished.

25 April 2009 These orders are merely interlocutory orders. We should wait for the final order. In the meantime no need to pay taxes, but one should be prepared to pay taxes if the final order goes against.
