20 April 2011 we paid freight on the outward to a person with the more than one truck. In a day we made 4 invoices to different parties with one truck or more. Then what will be the treatment of service tax in this regard.

21 April 2011 When the frieght amount of each consignment exceeds Rs.750/- or fright amount of the total vehicle consignments exceeds Rs.1500/-,Service Tax is payable by the Service receiver,who pays the freight @10.3% on the 25% of the freight.

03 May 2011 Dear Mr. Reddy,

I just want to clear that the word Consignment here means the Consignment related to one Party, i mean that whether we have to calculate the freight amount of each Party's Consignment Individually.

Please clarify.
