service tax on freight on bilty wise & Bill wise

limit of bilty amt upto which no service tax

limit of 2000 ?

04 January 2012 Dear sir,

Service tax on freight is payable on Bill basis. all the bills which are more than 750 is liable for service tax on GTA.

The rate of service tax on GTA is 10.3% of 25% of Bill amount.

75% is exempted.

09 February 2012 sir plz reply whether we can claim input of service tax on other expenses which are not directly or indirectly related to production in manufacturing unit ?
eg:- service tax on car service
