Service tax on commissions income

11 December 2012 I understand service tax is chargeable on commissions income of > 10 L pa.What if the agent is not sure what would be his income at the end of year.How does he charge customers per transaction till he knows?
I am talking about a real estate broker here.

11 December 2012 One Can Expect Within Two Moths. i.e April and May, That What Will be Turnover at end of year.
this all depend on expectation.
Secondly,
you take st registration atleast, aftr that as your commission cross 10 lacs you start charging service tax.
because you have to pay service tax only on amount exceeding 10 lacs.
not on full amount.
