Whether Real Estate Developer is liable to service Tax. If he develops his own properties (Residential & Commercial) and sells it.

Dear Nishit,
Real estate developer (RED)would liable for Service tax only when he receives certain amount of money prior to receipt of completion certificate otherwise not.
I understand from your query that RED has its own land and he would construct it for development purpose.
