18 November 2011 Can a manufacturing concern take service tax credit on service tax paid on inward courier bills.

Please also suggest applicability of service tax on invoices received from inward transporter in case service tax is also charged in bill and when not charged.

18 November 2011 manufacturer can take all input service tax credit.

service tax to be pay all type of cartage either inward cartage or outward cartage.

inward cartage service tax cenvat credit allowable.

outward cartage service tax credit not allowed.
