04 November 2014 Whether service provider providing various category of service as a subcontractor and receiving all same category of service. Whether service tax liability arising from one category of service provided can be set off against different category of input service received and vice versa?

22 November 2014 A service provider providing taxable output services can avail CENVAT credit of service tax paid on input services.

Such CENVAT credit can be utilized to pay the service tax liability on output service.
