05 September 2014 Hi all,

Can rates & taxes which is not paid to the government can be treated as Direct expenses as grouping in books of accounts ?

Eg: Explain the treatment of grouping of Input service tax for a company which is not having any ST registration. can it be shown under Current assets or any other possible?

05 September 2014 In one of our clients co .. they don't have service tax registration & they don't need it actually. still they are showing Input &output separately in books of accounts under grouping of Input in Purchases & Output under Sales. Now,my Query is Under which grouping they can show these Input & Output ST?

05 September 2014 when u r debiting servcie tax account and even paid to any other service provider then ultimately it goes to servcie tax dept and then to central govt only
