12 January 2013 We have received one bill from transporter for Rs 90000/-,there not mentioned service tax. my question is how to take input credit in above mentioned situation and who will pay the service tax can u explain to me

12 January 2013 Is he a transporter or a goods transport agency (GTA)?

In the case of a goods transport agency, the service tax liability vests with the company which avails the services of the GTA.
