07 May 2013 sir, i have given my excavator to a limited company on monthly rental basis. is there is any need to pay service tax as this is a construction machinery. pl advise me.

1)Service provided in respect of supply of tangible goods are subject to service tax

2) Please note that if you are within the exemption limit , then it is not required
