Could Bank transactions made in AY 2008-09 be taken on scrutiny on AY 2012-13

yes if the notice is served by the department within due time. (Currently, the practice followed is that the case for assessment year 2011-12 is selected for scrutiny and then under this pretext the information is called for for the earlier assessment years.
