19 January 2014 why salary paid tax free by employer is also taxable in hands of employee(assesse) ? And won't it lead to double taxation?

19 January 2014 When the employer is getting deduction of salary from profits then it has to be taxable in the hands of employee. The employee can claim credit for TDS deposited by employer.
