07 July 2009 Is it possible to claim from salary income the amount paid by the employee to employer for the short notice period in his return of income? If so under what pretex! Is there any decided case law to rely!!!!!!

08 July 2009 Dear Kumar,The practise is ,Notice pay is deducted from sattlement & Form 16 issued is net of this.Where is question of claiming.
